Introduction Avada’s Fusion Builder (now called Avada Builder) offers a visual, drag-and-drop interface to design and update your WordPress pages. This guide will show you how to open a page in Avada Builder, make edits to text, images, containers, and Fusion Elements, and save your changes—using simple steps and screenshot placeholders.
1. Log In to Your WordPress Dashboard
In your browser, go to
yourwebsite.com/wp-admin
.Enter your Username and Password, then click Log In.
2. Navigate to All Pages
In the left-hand menu, click Pages > All Pages.
Find the page you want to edit.
Hover over its title and click Edit (or Quick Edit but for builder access choose Edit).
3. Launch the Avada Builder
On the page edit screen, click the Avada Builder tab at the top.
If prompted, choose Frontend Editor to edit visually on your live page, or Backend Editor for a block-based view.
4. Understand the Avada Builder Interface
Fusion Builder Toolbar appears at top or bottom with layout options.
Containers are the main sections—each can hold rows and columns.
Columns divide containers horizontally.
Fusion Elements (buttons, text blocks, images) are the content modules you drop into columns.
Element Settings slide out on the right when you click an element.
5. Edit Text Content
Hover over a Text Block element and click the edit (pencil) icon.
In the settings panel, update your text in the Content tab.
Switch to the Design tab to change typography, color, spacing.
Click Save (check mark) to apply.
6. Replace or Add Images
Hover over an Image element and click edit.
In the Content tab, click Select Image, upload a new file or choose from the Media Library.
Adjust image size, alignment, and link settings.
Click Save.
7. Modify Containers and Columns
Hover over a container’s border to reveal its Container Options (six dots) icon, then click.
In the settings panel, under Container Settings, adjust:
Padding & Margin
Background color or image
Layout (full width, boxed)
For columns, hover over the column handle (vertical bars), click, and set Column Settings like width and alignment.
Click Save on each panel.
8. Add New Fusion Elements or Containers
Click the + Container or + Element button in the Fusion Builder toolbar.
Choose to add a new Container, Column, or Element from the list.
Drag and drop into place, then click the new element’s edit icon to customize.
9. Preview and Responsive Editing
In the Fusion Builder toolbar, click the Responsive View icon.
Toggle between Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile to see how your layout adapts.
Use element-specific responsive settings to show/hide or adjust for each device.
10. Save and Exit Builder
After making edits, click Save in each element’s panel.
Then click the Save or Update button in the Fusion Builder toolbar (usually bottom right).
Click Back to Dashboard or simply refresh the front-end to see your live changes.
